Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester

Jared Padalecki is best known for his role on the small screen as Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) boyfriend Dean on “Gilmore Girls.” Padalecki is currently starring in The CW’s thriller “Supernatural,” as Sam Winchester, the sweet reluctant hero who joins forces with his older brother (Jensen Ackles) to save their father from unseen forces.
On the big screen, Padalecki was most recently seen in the thriller “Cry Wolf,” where he played a precocious boarding school student drawn into an elaborate hoax involving a serial killer. He also co-starred in the Warner Bros. feature film “House of Wax,” opposite Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton. Other film credits include “Flight of the Phoenix,” opposite Dennis Quaid and Giovanni Ribisi, and “New York Minute,” with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Additionally, Padalecki appeared in the hit film “Cheaper By The Dozen,” in a role for which director Shawn Levy specifically requested him. He can also be seen starring opposite Kathy Baker and Hallie Kate Eisenberg in the independent baseball movie “A Little Inside.”
Padalecki currently resides in Los Angeles with his two dogs.

Jensen Akcles as Dean Winchester

A versatile young actor, Jensen Ackles challenges himself with each new role. Ackles currently stars on The CW's “Supernatural” as Dean Winchester, the rugged bad boy who teams up with his younger brother (Jared Padalecki) to find their missing father and battle evil supernatural forces.
Ackles is currently in production on David Mackay's romantic comedy “Ten Inch Hero.” The independent film is a sexy, funny, romantic comedy about the tangled love lives of co-workers at a sub shop in Santa Cruz.
Ackles previous television roles include playing Jason Teague on “Smallville,” Alec/X5-494 on “Dark Angel” and C.J. on “Dawson's Creek.” Additionally, he starred in the miniseries “Blonde,” opposite Patrick Dempsey and Poppy Montgomery.
On the big screen, Ackles made his debut in David Winkler's “Devour” for Sony Pictures. “Devour” revolves around a character named Jake Gray (Ackles) and his friends who play a deadly game called “The Pathway,” which eventually spirals out of control and threatens a worldwide epidemic of violence.
Ackles began his acting career in 1997 as the critically acclaimed Eric Roman Brady on “Days of our Lives,” for which he received three Daytime Emmy nominations and won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer in 1998.
Ackles was born in Dallas and was raised in Richardson, Texas. He currently resides in Los Angeles. Credit: The CW
