KRISTEN BELL as Veronica Mars
A native of Detroit, Kristen Bell attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While in New York City, Bell was cast in the role of Susanna Walcott in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible", starring Liam Neeson and Laura Linney. Bell's other stage credits include playing Becky in a Broadway production of "Tom Sawyer". She also appeared in "Hair" and in the title role in the musical comedy "Sneaux", by the creative team that produced the award-winning off-Broadway hit "Reefer Madness", in which she also starred.Bell was the lead in the telefilm "Gracie's Choice", opposite Anne Heche and Diane Ladd, and had a leading role in "The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay", opposite Tim Matheson. Last year, Bell starred opposite Val Kilmer in David Mamet's film "Spartan".
Bell guest starred in two episodes as the young con artist Flora on HBO's hit "Deadwood", the series from the creator of "NYPD Blue", David Milch. She has guest starred on such shows as "American Dreams", "Everwood" and "The Shield". She recently wrapped shooting on the cable version of "Reefer Madness", which also stars Alan Cumming, Neve Campbell and Ana Gasteyer. Bell is appearing in "A Little Night Music" at the Los Angeles Opera, directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Susan Stroman.
ENRICO COLANTONI as Keith Mars
Enrico Colantoni is best known as Blush magazine's womanizing fashion photographer, Elliott DiMauro, on "Just Shoot Me".Colantoni created the lead role in the London production of Neil LaBute's play "The Distance from Here". Recent film projects include Steven Soderbergh's "Full Frontal", "Frank McKluskey, C.I." and "The First $20 Million is Always the Hardest".
Colantoni also received critical praise for his portrayal of Elia Kazan in the Golden Globe Award-winning and Emmy Award-nominated cable television movie "James Dean". His other film credits include "Galaxy Quest", Steven Spielberg's "Artificial Intelligence: A.I.", "Stigmata", "Albino Alligator" and "Money Train".
Colantoni's love for the theatre began with a drama class he took while studying psychology and sociology at the University of Toronto. His drama teacher encouraged him to pursue an acting career, and he left school to go to New York, where he studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for three years. While there, he received the Princess Grace Scholarship and the Charles Jehlinger Award. A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, Colantoni appeared in "Hamlet" at the Yale Repertory and received the school's prestigious Carol Dye Award.
Among his theatre credits are "The Merry Wives of Windsor", at the New York Shakespeare Festival's Delacorte Theater in Central Park; "Arabian Nights", at the Manhattan Theatre Club; "The Triumph of Love", at the Guthrie Theatre; and his portrayal of Renfield in San Diego's Old Globe Theatre production of "Dracula". He played the title role in Shakespeare's "Macbeth", at the Matrix Theatre in Los Angeles, and starred in "Chekhov Project 2000", at the Old Globe Theatre.
Colantoni's television credits include a starring role for two seasons on "Hope & Gloria", as Gloria's lovable but unenlightened ex-husband, and guest-starring roles on "NYPD Blue", "New York Undercover" and "Law & Order". He also starred in the television movies "A Member of the Wedding" and "Cloned".
Born in Toronto, the youngest of two sons of an Italian immigrant worker, Colantoni remains an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team. In his spare time, he teaches drama to Los Angeles youth at Inner City Arts and devotes a lot of time to Penny Lane, a residential treatment center for at-risk youth. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Los Angeles with their son and daughter. His birthday is February 14.
PERCY DAGGS III as Wallace Fennel
Percy Daggs III grew up the middle child of three siblings, an older brother, younger sister and younger brother, who is now six years old. Although his parents went their separate ways while he was very young, Daggs remained much loved by and strongly bonded to all sides of his family in and outside of his hometown of Long Beach, California. Daggs was raised by his strong and hardworking mother, Sylvia Hill, with whom he shares a special bond and whom he credits with recognizing his talents and getting him started as an actor at the age of 14.Daggs is not new to the television screen, having filmed nearly 25 commercials over the past seven years. He has performed guest-starring roles in "The Guardian", "NYPD Blue" and "Boston Public", as well as co-starring in "Family Law" and "Any Day Now". When Daggs is not working or looking for work, he is on the basketball courts or leading lively debates with his friends and family in Long Beach.
