A new layout for the new year, featuring the gorgeous Kristen Stewart. Still need some fixing on the layout.

Another huge news is that we have found a new NUTTY to join our lovely nutty family.  We also wanted to thank all those who have applied. The amount of applies were insane. It is really good to know that there are so many generous nutties out there. It also was a hard decision to pick a new nutty. So do don’t be disappointed, we may look for a new nutty in the future and feel free to apply again, once we have an open spot 🙂

We picked out Holly out of all applies. We think she can contribute a lot to the site and the nutties out there.
(And we really weren’t kidding about the contribution, because she’s going to cap American Horror Story, which we have seen mentioned a lot in the tagboard! And there are some other shows coming too! ) Give her a big welcome!

The tv show, New Girl is also available in our TV Gallery. Check it out. And we recently starting capping Chuck too, which has its own gallery!

As you can see 2012 is going great and we have lots of moreee goodies to come! We won’t spill and spoil it, so be sure to come back soon!  See you in the next update!

Thanks to all nutties for all the amazing support and feedback we got through the years. We had our ups and downs, our crazy times, our sad times and ofcourse our happy times. After all these times, we finally manage to be stable now. Everything is going well, which means………..*drum roll* HOME OF THE NUTTY WILL BE HERE NEXT YEAR!!!!

Ofcourse we will bring you nutties lots of more goodies to our home. New nutty will be joining the team (ps, if you still want to reply, hurry up, it’s open until the end of the year)…Maaaaaany more glorious caps!!

We are looking for 1 or 2 new nutties to join the Nutty Crew.

I’ve looked through every single comment on the previous update. Thanks everybody for the suggestions and replies. I’ve picked a few (popular) ones that I’m interested it.
There were a few good shows that were on the list, but they are sadly not in HD/Bluray quality > Mostly the old theWB shows. So I don’t think we can add them any time soon. Or some shows are capped by many others already.

I’m also surprised by the many requests for The Big Bang Theory. We had a gallery for the show a few weeks ago, but it barely got any hits and feedback. So we didn’t think it was popular.
So anyways on to the poll!

Nutty Janine, just capped the final Harry Potter movie, The Deathly Hallows Part 2. Which makes the Harry Potter gallery complete. YAY. So go view these goooorgeous caps nutty potters.!

eta: on a side note, we have noticed that many people are hotlinking the HP caps. Could you please upload them to your own server or any image upload site. Or post a direct link to that particular cap. It helps us with the bandwidth 🙂

Soopie, the admin speaking here. PLEASE READ!!

I have decided to remain the site open, well it least until the end of the year. In the meantime I got time to think about what I want to do with it.  In these 3 months I am able to keep tracks on my statics and what I would pay monthly, we have recently upgraded to a private server, which cost a lot more. According to the monthly uses I can decide wether I want to keep it or not. (aka main problem is, high trafficked site, not enough money to pay for it)

I’ve started Home Of The Nutty for fun and put a lot of work and time in it + My fellow Nutties cappers: Janine+Desiree. Remember the crackdown last year? Imagine the deadly hours we have put to transfer all the caps to our new host. The backing up of caps, saving databases, mysqls. The constant mails to the support teams. If I knew this all beforehand, I would have never think of starting a capping site!

And then…the capping part. Oh boy, where do I start. I think this takes the most amount of time. Home Of The Nutty, hmm isn’t that the site that are posting HQ logo-less screencaps, yes, but have you ever looked further then that? Not only me but the whole team are very precisely when it comes to capping. We never post un-sorted caps. We actually take our “free” time off to go through every single screencap. I always re-cap frame by frame just to get a certain scene/shot. This shows how much we are a devoted cap team! Capping, sorting, uploading…there goes 3 hours of a day. I LOVE THE NUTTY CREW!

Yet, we get about 10.000 visitors a month and we get very rare comments/credits. But when our site is offline, all nutties are going nutts..literally!! People come and snag. It’s just nice to know what or whom we are doing it for.

Since the upgrade to the new server, I have decided to temporary (or maybe forever) close a few galleries. These are the galleries that barely got any visits. Will keep you updated.

All the nutties that have mailed us/comment on LJ, thank you! We have read every single of them and there were a lot of great feedbacks and suggestions!! I will put some into inconsideration. And the reqruiting part, I just have to delay it for a bit. Just until I figured everything out!
